Stanislav Grof, also called “The Einstein of the Psyche” developed holotropic breathwork in the 1970’s with his late wife Christina as a powerful means to uncover hidden and unresolved trauma and foster spiritual growth and experiences.
Holotropic Breathwork is one of the most powerful techniques for assessing the subconscious and exploring the wider realms of the psyche. It should not be underestimated and a lot has been written about it (please refer to the resources section).
Holotropic Breathwork is partner work that is usually done in group retreats. Every participant always has at least one “sitter” that will accompany them through difficult experiences and suppressed emotions coming up in the session.
Once you have worked through the difficult layers or even completely independent of them you can make beautiful experiences. Explore spiritual worlds, space, your own energy and being. A whole new world can be shown to you that you never knew existed.
The advantage of Holotropic breathwork is that it is open and allows you to make your own experiences without having to fulfill any expectations…
